What astonished us during our first visit to Exuma and continues to take our breath away on every trip, are the infinite shades of the blue waters. As you pull in through the landscaped private drive flanked by a natural limestone wall and historic stone walls and enter the villa, you will immediately gaze through the great room’s expansive series of glass panel doors and windows and enjoy views of the Hoopers Bay and turquoise water as far as the eye can see.
Built by a local builder from three generations of carpenters, the 1800 square foot villa is on one level and the open floor plan was designed for entertaining inside and out. The villa includes three thoughtfully appointed ensuite bedrooms, ensuring both comfort and privacy for every guest. With spacious bedrooms and inviting communal spaces, Clementina’s Cove is ideal for couples, friends, or family gatherings. Thoughtful touches include local art work, books, puzzles and games.
We love the expansive outdoor living spaces! The seating area under the spacious veranda provides the perfect setting for a quiet morning coffee and conversations over an ice-cold Kalik or rum punch. Enjoy a wind break or views of the bold sunrises and lingering golden hour sunset colors on the wrap around veranda areas. Dining alfresco under the veranda offers endless views - the epitome of Caribbean living. The heated saltwater pool and adjacent sundeck extend the area for the stunning views of Hoopers Bay and swaying tropical landscaping.
For the more active kids and adults, how about a game of pickleball? Yes, we have a full size pickleball court - a rarity on the island. Pickleball is a fun way to enjoy the outdoors while soaking up the tropical breeze and water views. The net, paddles and balls are provided. A private outdoor shower situated off the sunset side is the perfect place to rinse off after a match or when returning from the beach.
The comfortable living spaces and outstanding amenities create the ideal vacation rental for families and groups of friends. We welcome a maximum of 6 guests (regardless of age).
Clementina’s Cove is perfectly located whether you choose to enjoy getting out and exploring the island or want to relax at the house and take in the mesmerizing colors. Beautiful and calm Hoopers Bay Beach is less than a 10 minute walk. Our home has a prime mid island location convenient to the airport (12 minutes away) and is mere minutes away from central Exuma beaches - Tar Bay, Hoopers Bay, Jolly Hall as well as restaurants, bars, grocery and liquor stores. The central location also makes it easy to spend a relaxing day beach hopping all the way to Baraterre or Exuma Point one day (30 minutes) and to the tip of Little Exuma (40 minutes) on another day. Your beach hopping days will be filled with stops at many beautiful beaches and hidden gem restaurants/beach bars!
